Sergiy Probylov
Founder, Managing Partner
Sergiy is the founder and authorized partner of Misen Energy SPC (Oman) and a distinguished senior executive with over 30 years of leadership experience in upstream natural gas and oil development, industrial operations, and international project finance. He is recognized for his ability to align state authorities, investors, and technical operators to deliver complex energy projects in emerging markets
Throughout his career, Sergiy has held senior leadership roles across Ukraine’s leading state-owned and private energy companies. As a founding shareholder and managing partner of Misen Group (Sweden–Ukraine), he oversaw approximately USD 350 million in investments, led the redevelopment of mature gas fields, and nurtured one of Ukraine’s most successful public–private upstream partnerships, facilitating annual natural gas production of approximately 5 BCM. Earlier, at Ukrgasvydobuvannya (Naftogaz Group), he developed financing strategies for the country’s largest gas producer.
As a shareholder and managing partner of multiple Ukrainian energy companies, Sergiy drives the production of tight reserves of gas and gas condensate (Zakarpatska region), as well as heat power generation. He facilitates oil production at the Yarmakivske field (Poltava region) through strategic investments in well development. Through his solely owned company LLC “PSM” he provides Ukrainian market with high-tech engineering works, including the installation of high-pressure pipelines, complex heavy-duty technological equipment, and specialized pressure vessels, ensuring professional execution of critical energy sector initiatives across the country.
Since 2023, Sergiy has focused on international energy development. As a shareholder of EDG Natural Gas LLC and Delvina Gas Ltd, he leads initiatives to restore Albania’s domestic natural gas production through modern technologies and the development of the Delvina, Povece, and Frakulla gas fields. He is also advancing CNG and LNG solutions based on a virtual pipeline model, addressing the absence of a national gas transmission system in Albania and enabling the development of the country’s first CNG and LNG facilities. These initiatives combine upstream field development with downstream engineering, construction, and operational delivery of gas infrastructure.
Sergiy holds a Master’s degree in Petroleum Engineering and a Master’s degree in Thermal Engineering.
Borys Syniuk
Advisor on Oil & Gas Field Development
Borys is a highly accomplished executive with over 57 years of experience in geological exploration, oil & gas field development and company management. He advanced from the position of oil and gas field geologist to senior leadership roles within the energy industry. His professional portfolio includes the comprehensive development of oil and gas fields in Ukraine and Western Siberia. Borys is currently providing expert counsel to Del-Cng, contributing to the construction of Albania’s first CNG facility.
From 2010 to 2022, he served as the Director of LLC Karpatygaz (Misen Group), where he spearheaded the execution of multiple infrastructure projects: the construction of booster compressor stations, boasting a collective capacity of 73 MW, recovery of idle, decommissioned and low-yield well stock, well workovers and drilling of new wells. These initiatives yielded 3.2 bcm in additional gas production. Prior to this, Borys held the position of Chief Engineer and Deputy General Director at SC Ukrgasvydobuvannya of NJSC “Naftogaz of Ukraine”.
In this role, he managed a team of approximately 21,000 people. Despite the challenges faced by the gas industry in the late 1990s, the Ukrgazvydobuvannya team, led by Borys, successfully curtailed the decline in hydrocarbon production and achieved annual growth, reaching a total annual gas production of 15.5 bcm; they also discovered and put into operation new gas and oil fields.
Borys is an academician of the Ukrainian Oil and Gas Academy and holds a degree in mining engineering from the Ivano-Frankivsk Institute of Oil and Gas. Borys has made significant contribution to the technical progress of the industry as the author and co-author of numerous monographs and the author of a number of patented inventions that ensure the effective development of oil and gas fields in Ukraine.
Halyna Stebelska
Petroleum Geology and Development Advisor
Halyna serves as the Chief Technical Officer at EDG Natural Gas, an energy company engaged in the exploration, production, and commercialization of natural gas in Albania and Director for Geology at Navigator-Complekt LLC (Ukraine), bringing over 20 years of distinguished experience to the oil and gas sector. A competent Geoscientist and Reservoir Engineer, she possesses comprehensive expertise in reservoir engineering, production optimization, and strategic risk analysis for geological surveys. Her professional focus encompasses the evaluation of asset prospects, the formulation of investment development programs, and the management of regulatory compliance within legal frameworks.
Prior to her current tenure, Halyna held senior leadership roles at UkrNDIGas (Ukrgasvydobuvannya JSC) and served as an appointed expert for the State Committee for Reserves. Her technical authority is underpinned by a robust academic foundation, including a PhD in Petroleum Engineering and an MSc in Petroleum Geology from Ivano-Frankivsk National Technical University of Oil and Gas, as well as an MSc in Chemical Technology and Engineering from Lviv Polytechnic National University. She is also a recognized innovator, having authored over 30 scientific articles and holding three patents.
Volodymyr Salo
Advisor on Financial Affairs
Volodymyr is a strategic executive who leverages a robust dual background in law and economics to drive business growth. With a PhD in Law obtained in 2008 and Master degrees in Law and Economics, he combines academic rigor with practical commercial acumen. His career has been defined by active leadership and shareholder roles, where he focuses on high-level corporate governance and complex transaction management.
Specializing in the natural resources and production sectors, Volodymyr has successfully orchestrated major M&A deals and engineered vertically integrated holding structures. His expertise extends to financial engineering, where he works closely with banking institutions and investors to structure capital and secure funding for large-scale commercial initiatives.
Iryna Demchenko
Chief Legal Advisor
Iryna is a highly skilled attorney at law with over 22 years experience in legal consulting, specializing in energy, natural resources, complex M&A, dispute resolution, international arbitration, etc. She is a Managing Partner at a reputable law firm and served as a Board Member for Misen Energy AB (2021-2024). Previously Iryna was Head of Legal Department of Karpatygaz LLC and spent 15 years shaping the next generation of legal minds as an Assistant Professor at Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv.
Her extensive academic background, combined with her considerable experience in legal consulting of large-scale energy projects and cross-border corporate strategies, makes her a formidable asset in the sector. Iryna’s strategic counsel is built on a foundation of rigorous legal scholarship and two decades of navigating the complexities of the global energy and industrial markets. She holds a Master of Laws degree from Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv (2003) and a degree in Corporate Governance (2011).
